Extra earth strap query
I've finally got my Defender back with the stolen doors replaced and I've stuck ball bearings into the hinge bolts, sorted CCTV and security marked the interior etc etc.

However, I still need to add an extra earth strap to the battery to make sure the alarm sounds if someone cuts the other earth connections again - is this a simple case of attaching a new strap from the battery to a bolt on the side of the battery compartment?

Thanks in advance for any/all advice.

Mike

Another good reason to fit a SkyTag tracker from these guys

http://www.skytag-gps.co.uk/

If they cut the earth lead it senses battery disconnection and sends you a text, e-mail and phones your house!! Cool

Tested it on mine twice now [cos i'm like that Very Happy ] ... and alerts arrive in less than 2 minutes Thumbs Up

As Tesco says - 'Every little helps'. Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.
