they ride alot better with weight.Try it loaded and then see. You can get air bags that assist ride height. Dampers only control the axles damping not its ride.

Koni heavy track raids, great comfort, I often drive heavily loaded and tow to the max, others on here recommend Bilsteins too - any decent quality shock will give noticeable improvement.
Also consider poly bushes, they help too. Keith |

I totally agree it drives far better loaded,it's a horrible ride empty it's just I was wondering if a good quility set would be much better than standard the ones, I forgot to mention I've got a full roofrack as well adding to the weight

I put Bilsteins on in Feb 2012, very happy with the on- and off-road performance, although we only did 2 mild trails.
Recently there was a rattling noise from the back, my indie had a look and found the rear left shock's cover was loose. Upon closer inspection it turned out the shaft itself was moving, so had to send it back to the distributor. Still waiting for their answer. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

I'm running Terrafirma ProSport shocks. Happy with it Good value for money.
Go for the Terrafirma heavy duty coils, as the medium coils tend to sag under heavy (over) loaded conditions. |
