Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
FCX illuminated passenger sun visor
Matt, are these going to be coming back one day? On our trip to Belgium and back last week the Mrs. was looking around in the SVX and said that it is a scandal that there is no illuminated mirror in her sun visor and she threatened to glue something on herself if I am not careful. Shocked

Philippines 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey
I'm actually interested in one of these illuminated ones as well for SWMBO! For now she resorts to lowering get window and using the side mirror. It's her only genuine complaint about the truck. I stuck an aftermarket one in my old pick up truck and she was happy with that. I was planning to do the same but seeing as the Defender is a level up from the old pick up, I think it would be proper to have the illuminated one.

Now my only concern is that I would like to have one in the standard trim rather than a leather trim, possible?

Worse comes to worst, I still have the aforementioned aftermarket mirror handy but have yet to install...

Thank you for your interest.

Unfortunately we don't stock the 'standard' vinyl headlining material and wouldn't be able to replicate the heat welded seams of the original sunvisor as we stitch our leather, sorry Crying or Very sad

Hmm... OK, no worries. This being the case, what's the closest to the stock material available from your offerings?

Thanks.

Does anyone know what happened to Farrows classics? Think itæs not FCX.
I'm after two of their visors. Have the Mud mirros stuck to mine, but they're ok. Just not the best.
Has FCX stropped making any leather bits. Tried to get one of their removable Bosses a while back but they had stopped selling them?

Has anyone fitted a diffrent vanity mirror/sun visor to their defenders?

Matt stopped the Defender leather bits business already years ago. They refocused on selling American vintage pieces, if I remember well that included classic jukeboxes, etc.
If anybody wants to resell a pristine set of their illuminated sun visors, give me a shout.
