Mine is a LH drive Puma 2.4. About right under the driver position location is a little tube sticking out of the car bottom, which must be a drainage tube I think. What is this exactly?
My first thought would be the airco drainage, but from a previous thread I understand that that is some kind of teath located above the front end of the gearbox somewhere up in the gearbox tunnel. The position of this little tube is also quite far back from where the airco compressor sits. Anyone knows? Here is a picture. Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. Battery breather. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

It's an escape tunnel for the ubiquitous Land Rover spiders for when owners get carried away and threaten to use a vacuum cleaner inside their Landy.
