Brand new puma defender or older (out of warranty) Td5?
Eventhough you're entintled to "go elsewhere" for your servicing during the warranty period, if there's any post warranty claims (like your engine goes bang a month after said warranty expires) then your dealer are well within their rights to tell you to go forth and multiply. If you return for all your services during the warranty period if sweetens them (any dealer, i've just had the same with Mitsubishi) up and they're more likely to help you post warranty. Obviously if the warranty has long passed, then go for the cheaper option! |

OK this is what I do every year. I ring Stratstones in MK for price (they are always cheaper) then ring Hartwells in Northampton (not that I would let them service my lawmover) then ring Marshalls of Bedford. They knocked off about £200 of their quote to nearly match Stratstones quote. Failing that Rogers will be the cheapest of the lot. Boy |
