If the house is important, go for the house, it won't be the last LR you ever have, you can always get another one in the future. Chances are, next time you buy one you'll be able to get a better one.

Also, its more than likely the buyer won't be local. 2016 D4 HSE

Well, decision has been made - the Defender is going!

Not sure when yet, probably in the next couple of months though. My parents have offered to loan me money for the deposit, then pay them back when I've got another car sorted and sold the Defender (wonder if I can get away with saying I can't find a buyer Whistle )

I still won't be totally Land Rover free though, there's still a Series 3 Lightweight that's going through a very very slow restoration in the parents garage that I can fettle.

But the end is in sight for my time with Big Black! Sad times!

It will all work out as it should ... I had a lovely 110XS that I was keeping forever until I moved abroad and it was going to be tricky to reregister it so I sold it - but then I bought another one and it's better
