Hydraulic PTO
Hello all !
I'm thinking of mounting an hydraulic PTO on the transfert box to power an hydraulic front winch and eventually other stuff.
The best looking complete solution ready to fit seem proposed by firstfour.

Does anyone have experience of such an hydraulic PTO ? Any advice appreciated.

Best regards, 2,4 Puma 110 SW Light gray

Yes.....On a TD5

Exactly the model I have. PTO coupled to a Terrrier hydraulic winch! Great piece of kit Thumbs Up

Bumpers can be built to order by First Four so had it built closer to the radiator so as to not stick out so far as standard tubular bumper from First Four, I also had the hydraulic tank built to my own specification so that it went inside the rear storage box out of the way, again through First Four. Peter the owner very helpful. Would do a couple of things differently next time but only minor changes.

If you need advice on fitting and any photos of finished install let me know.

Sorry to butt in, but Landlord could I possibly have some pictures of your installation, especially the tank. I am dreaming of a Terrier winch too. I have a PTO kit already, but the tank is huge.

No problem, will sort out some photos tomorrow for you, happy to help.

Terrier is a great winch, pulls all day as long as the engine is running. 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top

Peter at Firstfour is an excellent person to deal with and he answers emails Thumbs Up

He is custom building me a winch bumper for the 90, another well known dealer close to FF have failed to deliver and can't be bothered to answer emails anymore.

Having seen hydraulic winches in use at the weekend I am very tempted.

Drop him an email, he is very helpful.

Fully agree - Peter is willing to listen and very helpful.

Romadog - got some photos for you, the hydraulic tank is in the rear storage box and bolted to the floor on the left hand side. Hydraulic hoses then go through the floor. The drawings for the design of the tank are on my computer at the office, can pm them to you on Tuesday if you want.
