2005(!) Puma Van
In Taunton I spotted a silver 90 van. Had 05 plate, Puma bonnet & console. Looked immaculate & spotless, mint in fact. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Could it be a custom plate?

Could be TD5 with personal plate and changed bonnet. Depends what you're meaning of console is? Confused KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

I read 'console' as 'Dash' and the way it is mint would indicate to me that the plate says something/ links to business. I couldn't imagine someone going to that much trouble as it would cost more to do the work than buy a new/ nearly new truck.

But then again......... We ArE aLl CrAzY aRoUnD hErE Ner Ner

Yes, I meant dashboard, the "nostril" Ford vents being giveaways. The plate didn't look intentionally personalised (unless the owner's initials were in the last 3 letters), started WD05 IIRC.

Was there an early Ford-ownership, pre-Puma motor time, when they were using up TD5 components, but putting Puma bonnets & dashboards in? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world.
