Yep, should fit OK, but you can get the main pump section (LR004799) for £133.65+VAT.
Other options for this part are here, including an OE spec unit. http://www.land-rover-parts-shop.com/en/ui...&stp=s |

Typical! I ordered one from LR this morning!
Is the pipe connector round the back the same too? Mine seems to be leaking where it bolts to the block, which is odd since I didn't think there was s water passage through the joint face, just oil. |

Thanks for all of the above, due to time constraints I had to go for the LandRover option.Managed to get my local stealer tolet me have it for trade price. All changed easy job.I have done a post mortem on the leaking unit, all it needs is a new gasket for the impellor section. This does not seem to be available as a part. Its never over in my land rover.

I changed mine this evening, as you say an easy job taking an hour altogether. Mine was leaking from the drain hole in the bearing housing, which allows the run-off to emerge at the joint face with the block. I guess that the seal by the impellor is leaking.
Will autopsy the old pump later. |
