We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

here is a story for you when I was working for asda, Xmas time they brought in a load of tinned sweets, and the company was been as a one year with the double discount. So two of my pals worked in the back on fork lifts, had to put these pallets of tinned sweets up a height. Everyone was proper off, with the company. Anyway my mate said to the grocery section leader, I have had an accident with the fork lift, and damaged a pallet of tinned sweets. The section leader said which pallet is it? My pal said "that one right there" Section leader said "it looks ok" my pal said " that's because I haven't put the forks through it yet" Section leader said " ah ok let me know, so I can get the lot marked down and get shot" My two pals were righting off stock left right and centre and the team leader was just marking the prices down, it got to the point where he was asking my two pals to continue to damage the odd pallet of stock. We had a right old good Xmas with cheep tinned sweets that year Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Say what you like about British workers. Lazy, work-shy, shirkers, malingerers, for sure but you have to admire their ingenuity. |

Yeah Zed, if the company is been a with you, then you got to do what you got to
Asda decided to be a real tight on their double discount, making it not been worth using, so Tesco said if you are going to be like that, then they can have 20% off here. you only had 10% off anyway at the time, which wasn't really much for what you had to put up with.
