I gues there is then no hope for us in deep, dark Africa where we have to "build our own roads or drive non-existing roads and if anything goes wrong your only hope is a satelite phone and hopefully "quick" help in about two or three days time......

Example:
We drove from Maun to Chobe in Botswana---200 odd km took us 11 hours minus all our teeth and no nuts or bolts left on the car.
Or the "road" from Pafuri in RSA to Vilankulos in Mozambique---480km takes about 33 hours and without any paint left on the car.
