Steering Wheel
Right time has come for me to replace my (48 spline) steering wheel as the rubber outer has come away from the steel core and it feels horrible when driving.

So I have seen a couple of options:
1) Replace like for like
2) Buy a universal boss and then buy a Momo, Sparco and so on
3) Buy a Moto-lita steering wheel and boss.

I think I am favouring option number 2 from a price point of view. any advice or guidance would be most appreciated. I am gonna go for a minimum diameter of 14" and maximum of 16"

But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Might as well put a quick release boss on as well while your at it. Ive put a momo compatible boss on mine, then a quick release boss on top of this, then momo wheel. Scroll to the bottom of the first post in this thread to see photo....

i have opted for an omp cromo wheel.

i am also using the 25mm thin quick release boss.

i butchered a scrap steering wheel for the female 48 spline lump and a local jobbing shop is welding on a flange so i can attach it to the quick release.

probably won't save me any money but it means i can retain the same relationship between the steering wheel and the indicator/wiper stalks.

i will try and post pictures once it is on.
