Demountable Livestock Trailers
Hopefully there are some farmer types on here...

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to put "drop sides" on an Ifor Williams DP 120 please?

Thanks

Thumbs Up

I'm pretty sure you can't, especially if that picture is the trailer in question.........there are no sockets in the corners of the bed for the posts and there are no hinge pins on the side of the bed for the sides to pivot on. IIRC the trailers could have raves fitted at the front(ladder type upright to help keep bales on the trailer)

As above. The sides were optional extras and would have come with fixings wlded on to the side prior to galvanising. That is not to say you wouldn't be able to retro fit them. Everything is possible.

Thanks for the replies chaps.

It's good to know that I can possibly retro fit them.

It's not the one pictured, but I should be viewing one this weekend depending if the first viewer doesn't buy it.

Thanks again Thumbs Up
