TDCi Raised breather / wading kit
I just came across this on D44: http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?page=sho...;Itemid=14
Devon 4x4 Raised breather / wading kit for TDCi 90 and 110. Only £35.94 inc VAT so worth having for such a good price IMHO.
Kit includes:
6mm breather tube cut to length to suit front axle, rear axle, gearbox and transfer box.
Breather connectors
Cable ties
Tube silicone sealer (sealant gun required)
Full detailed instructions.
Thought some of you may be interested if you haven't came across it already before. Maybe some one has already fitted this kit.

The last roll of 6mm pipe I bought off of ebay (10 meters) cost about £6 delivered. push on fenso (fesno?) connectors from the same ebay place are about 50p each

Pack of cable ties from the local Wilts wholesalers (* other electrical wholesalers are available!) about £5 for 100

tube of silicone from B&Q... £3

It's like the Mulgo door adjusters - I could have easily got the bits together myself but I'm too f Censored ing lazy*

*and happily so Laughing Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Rolling with laughter Don't mind paying for quality all the same. E-bay can be good in MANY respects but sometimes cheap is not a good thing. Depends on the quality of the item and that can be hit and miss. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

The stuff I got (via ebay) was actually direct from a pneumatic ram place, they made models (bit like robot wars)... I think it was someone on here that posted the link actually.

Either way, the pipe was good stuff. Mind you, do you think that D44 would bother to supply the Rolls Royce of pipe as well? they'd also be adter a quick buck.... (parden the pun Whistle )

I thought that I read a long time ago in this forum, that there was no need for kit like that for the Puma? Or that post 2007 Defender versions already have breather kit on gearbox and axles? Question Confused

edit: just read the add "to raise the factory breathers to a more suitable height " ... what's a more suitable height then? Regards
