Right then does anyone know where to get the "climair" style deflectors for a 57 Puma Defender as i got a set recently on the web but there is no way they are going to slip into the window edge on the new door, i guess the new ones stick on ?? If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Where do they go then ? between the black metal strip and the door or window seal and black metal strip ? as per the other mmber i gave up when i cracked the corner off one and guessed that i had been done on the net and got TD5 ones If everything is under control you are not going fast enough. I put them inside the channel beside the glass works and looks fine. Still a little fiddly to fit as said wait till ambient outside temp as you do have flex them quite a bit. you have to remove the small black window guide first look, into the frame for a small cross head screw which holds this in place then remove from behind the window seal, then carefully 'twist' the the deflector into place. 2.4 90 XS

I can't work out where these go at all. they cant go in the window channel, and there is no space on the other side?
the cross head screw near the top of the channel - how odes that relate to the black retainer? its miles away. so on the pic below, where do they go? Click image to enlarge |
