Or keep the RAI (to avoid leak probs of roof being played about with) and pursue them for some serious compensation. Through Customer Care, not the dealer. Full set of new tyres... 3 years free servicing...

The problem I have is when I fit a roll cage. I have a free mantec RAI to fit thanks to ARMYBOB and it should utilise the same holes so leaks won't be a problem. On top of that I will have a recipt for the purchase and fitting of the new RAI at about £350 (which they will refund) and then I will also be selling the one on it so should be £500 up on the deal. I just made sure they were putting it in writing that they will change any body pannels if needed. |

It was registered in Gaydon as it is for export. It will have a different reg within a month again once I get it out to Germany. Glyn |

Wow.. problem people are having with buying new cars.. I also had some simmular problems on my past 4x4. I ordered it with extras, and it arrived with nothing done.. then they wanted to charge me extra for the extras at a higher cost due to the fact that the work would be done here and not at Nissan. 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw

have you thought about asking for a new vehicle, due to the destructive mounting of the RAI? Cheers

I have thought about it, but I have been waiting 8 months fr tis one and other than the RAI (which we have come to a good agreement for me) I am more than happy with the rest of it. It is also a nightmare trying to sort out a UK car when in Germany
If I were t do it again I would just order the car without any extras and fit tem myself after collecting. It is just that I got a better deal by adding them and they are covered by warranty. Glyn |

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH, after reading the 'colour of choice' thread and Bob pointing out that Tonga was discontinued 3 months ago I thought I would phone through and confirm the colour as you can't be 100% sure from the photos, and guess what , yep you have guessed, the changed it to Galway green without telling me.
I am going to have to start writing a letter to Land Rover now. Glyn |

Tonga green despite the name is more of a gray then green, where Galway green is a very green green. I will take it providing the compensation is acceptable. Glyn |
