I'm confused - my understanding of this forum and the many others I am a member of is that they are a space for like-minded peoPle to share experience, information and general chit chat about a common interest. Isnt it just generally accepted that not all topics are going to be for everyone and others will find them interesting. Alot of what people write about I find uninteresting and not helpful, but they are perfectly entitled to write about it without moans and gripes being aired. I suppose if it's a real problem a separate forum could be created purely for emotionless, experienceless technical knowledge only. I'd rather stay here - if I wanted that sort of thing in my life I would go work for the council. Pip pip Defenderers! |

Back sorry....
Feel free to look at my profile. I admit there is some complete and utter I've dribbled on about (who hasn't) in my posts but there have not been any 'emoticon only' posts
There's that much Sikaflex on my truck if I have a prang I'll just bounce off I reckon. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

K9F you completely missed my point i was saying. "k9f - sorry but i find this very useful compared to the other tuning topics because i live 10 mins from "the man for landrovers" so its interesting to here some feedback from there." all those links are about alive tuning thats been carried out else where. its good to hear about a near by (to me) garages offering a well know map thats clearly tried and tested and not some that they have come up with, or probably would just be a plug in chip! (which is the judgment i originally had about the garage "the man for landrovers" in east sussex. Last edited by chadjizz on 16th Jul 2012 7:32pm. Edited 1 time in total |

If you have one defender 'Alive'd and buy the ATRIC system, can I re-map my other TDCi as a freebie? 1951 80" S1 2.0

The remap files supplied to you from any remap supplier are VIN specific. So you can't interchange them between different vehicles as the tune is done on your vehicles specific OEM file which is used to produce the remapped file.

Not really, the decent tuners put a lot of time and money into developing the expertise and ability to provide a service to us - if you did the same would you be happy to see it being copied for free or would you feel ripped off? John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |
