I've got a 14.4v Makita that I bought about 12years ago(well I say 12 years, it's a bit like Triggers Broom! I'm on my 3rd body
![]() You'll be happy with the Makita and going for one up the range as opposed to the hobby/diy versions pays dividends ![]() |

Well, the dewalt was taken back the other day as it just failed to easily stay in gear. Spoke to one of their experienced ex trade guys who said they had loads of them back, but hardly any Bosch ones back. Yes the chuck is a compromise at 10mm, but I still have a black & decker firestorm 18v that has one of its batteries left that works to 13mm if needed. The Makita one at the same price also had loads of returns..... Bosch one so far seems to engage gears properly and the torque adjustment actually works. ![]() Time will tell..... Over on D3 |
