Hello All,
I'm not only new to the forum, but also new to the Landrover ownership market. Last year due to the fact that two motors on my Nissan patrol GR3 blew up, I finally bought my dream 4x4. RB 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw Landrovers of Switzerland Club member |

Hey Rbox,
seems like we are on the same page as Americans living in CH and having our first go at a defender 110. How do you like it? We are off for a road trip of a month long down through the Balkans this summer so let's hope that the new air works well and the mpg is as good as they say it is. Got a dark tint in the other day so hope that it helps out a bit with the heat that my kids have forgotten about since leaving Oregon a few years back. welcome to the forum.
I bought mine at AutoBrit in Geneva. Make sure you insist on a discount, I got 7-8k chfs off mine, although JohnnyTurbo2002 went to Germany to buy his and got a better deal. Swiss garages give 3yrs / 100,000kms free servicing if you buy new. Would not recommend LandGland or EmilFrey. whereabouts are you ? |

Hi,
I'm in Zug Autokunz have 2 currently , at around 43k chf for basic new models, only think they lack that I need (I think) is abs & TC... But seems like good price considering used prices in ch. 3 year I guess is the standard LR warranty? Or is this something above this ? |

PM johnnyturbo2002 ... he's listed on the thread, he's in Zurich and knows that area better. The Swiss garages are keen to move vehicles, so push and push for a deal.. as I said, I got 7-8kchfs discount, ipod connector and full set of rubber mats, 3yrs servicing and a free vehicle when the defender is in the garage. don't take anything for granted with the dealers here, although I can recommend AutoBrit. Mine also came with M&S tyres. I don't think TC/ABS would be an easy retro fit but I'm sure someone will confirm this. I bought new, in fact I bought the ICE edition because it was the same price as a 110XS and I like the color and extras etc. Good luck with your search .. autoscout24 is a good site too |
