Hi,
I had the Turbo hose go at about 2000km, just found the same clip rubbed through a radiator hose at 13,000km. recall timer on poorly placed hose clips? All the best RD |

Thanks Q for making us aware of this, sorry to hear you and RedDef had to find out the hard way. Checked my water hose last weekend and it was also starting to rub on the same hose clip (after just 1500 miles) so I've put a piece of rubber around the intercooler hose and used a cable tie to pull it gently back towards the inner wing and away from the water hose. If the hose clip was turned through 90 degrees when fitted there wouldn't be a problem!
Cheers! Tony |

My inter cooler hose went, turns out the pinch bolt on the steering column rubs the hose (great design)

The power loss and temperature issue may be to do with a loose connection on the main power relay.
I had lots of trouble with power loss and unexpected stalling, on the third attempt a Land Rover Assistance guy spotted the temperature gauge was at the max and said this was a common sympton of loose connections. Having tightened all the crimps on the relay base, I haven't had the problem since. Barney D4 - 2016 Graphite, Montalcino Red Written Off - 2010 90 Hard Top, Stornoway Grey |
