If any one is into home smoking this is the dogs It is the electronic unit with the cold smoking unit as well You can cold smoke fish, trout,salmon mussels,or any other shellfish You can smoke cheese, sausage, bacon, ham, pork belly, beef,eggs,garlic, all types of game Hot smoking cooks and smokes at the same time so you can do a chicken, mackerel, pork loin, trout salmon fillets and the list goes on. I have had it a while but since her indoors has gone veggie it does not get used much. Just plugs into a 240v plug, load it with bisquettes of any flavour, oak,cherry, apple, hickory, mesquite, old holborn!, Comes with all the racks and trays and quite a few packs of bisquettes. it is totally automatic, all you do is load up the bisquettes into a magazine, set the temperature and leave it to do the rest. Recipe books with it. The unit with the cold smoke attachment costs about £400 to £420. £250 but due to size collection only. If you are not part of the solution,you are part of the problem!
