After an unsuccessful attempt at fitting flares to the arch extensions I have decided to "renovate" the slightly mutilated one and paint them all black to match the overall "riot police" look
As the extensions are plastic and flexible, can anyone suggest what sort of paint I should use to do a decent job? They were already painted OEM. Hi
I use numerous products off these guys for arches, www.plastidip.co.uk, good products , I pay quite a lot less trade for buying bigger quantities but I have put a few of my customers on to them and they offered quite good discounts to them when they ordered a few items? If you media blast the arches at a low psi first with a 120-240grit Ali oxide or a 80 grit glass bead you will get a much better, longer lasting finish. If you want to paint with a lr colour these products make great primers on flexible stuff. Good look |

Thanks!
So can the top coat be standard acrylic paint? Would it flex enough and would it bind sufficiently to the blasted original paint finish without primer? Sorry for the daft questions - I'm pants at painting and I dread it. Trouble is, all the paint shops round here are worse than me and more expensive per hour than a top class hooker Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
