A rattling grinding noise at road speed rather than engine speed. |

I'm wondering if I can take it up with Land Rover.
Anyone know a good contact? |

Two years out of warranty might present a bit of a challenge - and I suspect you would be sworn to secrecy if they did help as it would certainly open the floodgates for out of warranty claims
But let us know how you get on Defender 110 Puma Utility XS |

It's been suggested by our local dealer that I might be able to claim a 'good will' 25% dicount off an exchange box (circa £1500) after an inspection.
Since Ashcroft will rebuild mine for £495 the choice is obvious. |
