Thanks to Dgardel and Landyash I now have a matched pair. Thank you both for parting with your individual levers. Excuse photo quality taken with Cwapberry!!
Click image to enlarge Dgardel even sent me step by step comprehensive details on how to do the swap out. (He never fails to dissapoint ). It wasn't labour intensive but quite time consuming. Briefly: centre carpet out, handbrake lever disconnected and dismounted, gaitor off, transfer tunnel off, disconnect transfer lever linkage, four torx screws out and transfer lever assembly lifts out completely, about 3 hours work all-in-all disassembly reassembly! Very nice....... Now, next you need the original SVX cubby box to complement the setup
And then......, the SVX Recaros You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

I can't fathom how they get damaged. I saw the cubby box myself. Last gear lever/transfer lever I saw was in August on the 'Bay' that one which was brand new went for £225:00 after 10 bids. Still a bargain if you compare to the Croytec price and it's genuine! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
