Does anyone have any pointers for good value European breakdown cover? This is for our other car, so the non-Landy. 3 week trip to France. The AA want over £100, which seems a bit steep seeing as I'm already a member. Car is an 04-plate Golf, and the age is obviously going to put the price up, but still.
Seem to remember getting a cheap deal when we went touring in the old 90, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was we went with |

They presume that older cars are more likely to break down, hence the premium goes up. Depends on provider, but I think the AA charge a supplement for any car over 6 years old (so either of ours then).

Oh I see what you mean now vehicle age. I was thinking there you meant driver age with the policy. I thought not another excuse. I too have the AA but you are right and mines expensive and that's for a Puma âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸ |
