Due to the ever reducing retail prices i now have stopped selling exhausts, I see on Ebay many items that are produced at the same factory as our stock was made including the teraferma ones etc.

below are a couple of links to the front pipe.

The manafacturers web site who makes them for all of the mentioned is below.

Would I be right in thinking the De-cat pipes are not the easiest things to fit? âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸

No not really, but with perserverance....

Sorry its took a while to update this one but i waited in the end to get a mid box replacment pipe as well befor fitting,
As others have reported fitting the decat pipe is a bit of a pain as the catalic converter bit is right up by the turbo, so removing the propshaft and the chassis crosmember needs doing first, other than that it was straight forward just a bit of wiggling to get it past everything, but you do need 4x new nuts, bolts, washers i also took of the heat shield for a few runs and everything was ok without it.

I also removed the large centre box as well as it seemed overkill on a defender and fitted a ss straight through pipe but left the standerd Landrover tail box in place for now until i can get a ss one.
You will need 5x 50mm m10 nuts and bolts for this as the landrover ones are captive bolts on the silencer.

This all went without a hitch the decat pipe came from Allisport and the mid pipe replacment came from BAS
on starting up the vehicle it does sound a bit more throaty but not excessive, bit like a V8.

When you are driving the noise level is no different than standard, unless you put your foot down then it defenetly picks up quicker and is slightly more noisy but sounds good.it also seems to drives more smoothly
will check mpg over the next few weeks to see if there is any differance.

Unless you fit a 2 piece one, otherwise the cross member gets in the way.

Be prepared for rusty bolts and it would be worth investing in some new ones. 1999 Defender TD5 110
