1998 Defender 90 V8 Petrol 50th Auto Atlantis Blue

Fuel Vent pipe on a 110

Hi,

My Fuel tank vent pipe has disintegrated in 2 places so I bought a new one. Looking at the part catalogue I can't see whereabouts it fixes onto the tank - top with pump or rear? Do I have to drop the tank to get at it? It's mighty tight in and around there ... Cheers,

My 08 110 suffered the same problem. I bought a new fuel pipe and asked a couple of local garages if they could fit it - as it did involve dropping fuel tank.
One quoted £105 and the other quoted £35.
It was well worth spending the £35! 2.4 110 XS

Mine was replaced under warranty - they did remove the tank to do it. Rich
