Hi,
Its either this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3770526.htm Or this one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...TQ:GB:1123 The specced up one does however command a 6.5k premium. It's a year younger but I'm sure I can spec the other one to that level for less maybe? Would I ever get around to it though. Thoughts on them (shame I'm not VAT reg'd) 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI Last edited by familymad on 1st May 2012 8:19am. Edited 2 times in total |

What would you mean by 'trying too hard?'
I've got a bog standard Series 2 and Series2a but have had loads of times when a winch would have helped dig me out on those. The roof rack will be full of kids bikes pretty much every weekend and I'd defo fit one the any I buy. I suppose some people trick them up and don't use the gear but if they like the look and it keeps them happy, cool IMHO. I'm not trying to justify either one and maybe light guards and A bar are not really me - true. Discuss 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

Second one seems a bit bloated - do you really need to cart all that stuff around all the time - also the price is + VAT which is ok if you are registered. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

No 1 good price low mileage pretty much standard and looks like it hasnt been used.
No 2 has all the proper gear on it not after market stuff. But if you can claim the vat your only slightly of price of a brand new one. if you shopped about probably get a 12 plate for 23000+vat. if not vat registered buy no1 and save a shed load of cash and buy a project. |
