Clear body protection film!
No this isn't about wrapping girls in cling film Shocked although I may have thought of a new take away idea Wink

I'm getting a few scratches around the rear door handle when opening the door with muddy gloves from work, it won't take long before I go right through the paint so wondered if anyone new of a source of protective clear film that I can stick on for protection! Some say stickers etc ruin the paint but it's got to be better than no paint Sad

Poor old girl hasn't been cleaned in a month, she is well and truly work christened, never mind she is earning her keep, used every day but just passed the 6000 mile mark.

A mate at work got some plastic film put on the weheel arches of his Smart car as a protective layer from stones. When he is back from his trip to France I will ask the Q for you and see what make they are. 1999 Defender TD5 110

The clear plastic used at school for covering books ?
Cheap , easily replaced. Use it at work to protect Safety stickers on machinery at work as they arent cheap to replace. Also used for applying tax discs to machines' bodywork, where usual holders would get in the way.

I got clear plastic film for the tank of my new bike, came in sheet form or in a sheet of different size patches. It went on with a few bubbles to start with but after a few days somehow it sorted its self out. Might sort a few patches out to put round my door handles.
