exhaust system
As my car is a late 300 my stock exhaust is the single centre silencer type with no other boxes. I have a straight through pipe to replace the silencer but whilst that is good for reducing back pressure it also makes the car boom which is uncomfortable. So I'm wondering if fitting the rear section from a td5 with the small box in the wheel arch and removing the centre box would give enough silencing to not boom? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

I had a Gwyn Lewis side exit on my old tdi, loved it.

if a Td5 one will fit then it mshould reduce it a bit. For the most effective solution you need a straight through silencer like a cherry bomb 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
