15" Momo steering wheel & boss

I got this for my 110 a while back, but find it too small.

It's an ex Imprezza momo leather wheel, just under 15" in fact. I bought a proper boss for it, but the damn thing was about 3" deep, so I dismantled an old 4 spoke wheel and cut the center out of it, turned it down at work and made my own "flat" boss, so the wheel sits in the same position as the factory wheel does.

As mentioned, I used an old 4 spoke wheel, which is 36 spline, so this will fit early models or late station wagon with the posh leather 2 spoke wheel.

Its not in too bad condition. not worn through on the edges at all. the middle padding bit is slightly out of shape where it's been fitted and removed umpteen times from the main wheel... I suspect warming it up and "bending" it slightly inwards would make it a nice tight fit again, although it doesn't rattle about or fall off in normal use anyway. The horn button has been glued up too (not that it matters on a defender with the button being on the stalk)

Ideally i'd like to do a straight swap for a plain 4 spoke wheel, but if you want to buy it, say £30? (plus postage), or collect form Swindon, or forum relay.

I'll give you a tenner for your homemade boss! I also have a momo wheel and a "proper"boss but like you say it sits a bit far out. Stick the wheel and the other boss on Ebay and get £50 for it!

I can get the boss from Walfy next time i see him and I still owe you a fiver from the dash loom!

If no-one wants it, then yes, you gotta deal mate.

No need for payment for the looms... you sent me that tube down for the rollcage brackets.
