There's a powder coaters that we use at work occasionally, Oxford Industrial Finishers, which are pretty good and very professional. They also have a quck turn around time when not overly busy. I've never used them to do wheels, but when I have been in there, they always seem to have quite a few sets being worked on. http://www.oif.uk.com/services.html Hope that helps. |

Excellent! I'll drop them a line tomorrow - thanks for all the information everyone!
Does anyone have any photos of Boost Alloys powdercoated?? Also the next question is... what sort of finish do I want?? I was thinking more of a Matt Black look to go with the 110 - any advantages/disadvantages to matt vs gloss? Cheers EDIT: Pictures greatly appreciated! |

If you're in Swindon area, then I can highly recommend SunBase, who I get to do all my stuff.
James is the man there, and likes cash... I usually get black bits for my rovers done in eggshell, which is kind of half way between matt and full on gloss. |

Well I'm West Oxfordshire, so if he's East Swindon, it's not tooo far... maybe an extra 15 minutes further than the one mentioned above. Any pics of your eggshell bits?? I also really want to get the chequerplate on top of my sidesteps done in black as well to match the wingtops, don't know how easy they are to remove and get sprayed, although I know they'll deteriorate with people stepping on them all the time, if they are easy to get to, I wouldn't mind spraying them myself every year or so. But obviously a good base first time would be cracking! |
