2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Tonga Green

County Landrover - Barnstaple

Well ........credit where it is due.

I bought my '57 CSW from County Landrover Barnstaple and was very impressed with the prep of the vehicle and the service.

After owning the truck for a few months the ubiquitous clutch rattle started which plagues all early Puma's. Looking through my warranty paperwork it was clear that clutches were not covered and my heart sank. Anyway I took my truck back to County and they had a listen agreed that it was the clutch and without a second word agreed to replace it a no cost!! A few days later the parts were in work completed and I'm a happy man.

Good news

It's great when a dealer exceeds expectations - doesn't happen often

It reminds me of my TD5 110 CSW had a shagged wheel bearing at 80k miles and out of warranty at four years old - Lancasters did the work and supplied the bearings free of charge. John
