De-Cat
I took the plunge yesterday and had a custom stainless steel exhaust made and fitted. One centre box and de-cat. It was a very long day but the drive home confirmed it is the best thing I have spent money on for the 110. The vehicle is totally transformed, I drove home on the A14 (about 90 miles) and it sat at 70-80 (sometimes more). I never really drive that fast but I was late and my lovely wife had some supper on for me so I did not want to be too late. It pulled in every gear and was as if I had the tune in (which I did not), it simply fly’s along, wish I had spent my money on this long before now. I am a very, very happy chappy! Thank you to Dan and David at Demand Engineering (http://www.xorst.co.uk/ ) who worked so hard to get it all done to just how I wanted it. I know I was a very fussy customer and if you read this I would like you to know how grateful I am with the effort you put in on Saturday.

To be honest it's not very load at all! I ran it in the workshop without any exhaust and it was surprisingly quiet. Think the turbo takes all the sound away. What does it for me is the pull around 1600rpm, can't begine to say how much difference it makes.

Bob

Thats my only problem now. The puma will never sound as good as a TD5 does Laughing

I have to say the change in how it drives has completely blown me away.

Watching them cut, bend and weld each part felt very special. Very Happy It is by far the best mod I have done.

Yeah always wanted the twins but was worried it might look too chav. Laughing

They were pretty good, as they are land rover enthusiasts they under stood all about articulation and the need to keep things out the way, not that mine gets used in heavy off-road situations but I like to be sure.

Yep that went when I fitted the the wheel carrier nearly three years ago and I never got round to getting rid of the other one to even things up.
