Gap Road Brecon Beacons
Had a letter from the Powys CC regarding a decision on the Gap road consultation. It's in English but not in an order that I know. Says that the "committee [has] decided to over-rule (sic) the objections and make the revocation order." Whatever that means.

Does anyone know if the Gap Road will be open as usual in April and September?

Gap Road Update
I've just had some clarification from someone who knows about these things. He says that the Powys CC has now allowed cars to drive the Gap road all of the time, rather than just a couple of weeks a year. I know this sounds like a win but now they can put a permanent TRO on it to ban traffic. When there was a partial ban in place they couldn’t because you can’t have two TROs in place at once. That is why we objected to the change.

Opinion is that this new TRO will happen soon. If and when I’ll let you know.
