Mine arrived today
Top brackets will take all of 10 minutes to make, one with mine and one to make. Can't comment on the lowers until the 90 returns Saturday - the bottom part is already fitted. Check out SP Landrovers:
http://www.splandrovers.com/category_s/112.htm William is a really helpful guy and gave me good advice. I'm buying the top half one for my 110SW - it should allow for some loading underneath Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

How does the SP one fit Matt, looks as though it is fixed from the bottom Your buying the one that usually fixes to a bulkhead?

Yup - you're right
I didn't want a full guard so I can load under it without removing it and it isn't so imposing/obstructive for passengers 6 and 7 (and they can escape if necessary - there are window grills everywhere else). Normally it fixes to the bulkhead but William confirmed it will be easy to make up some brackets (to the floor or sides) - I'll see when it arrives. I need some more projects anyway Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I might ring about the full one as it may be easier to just chop the bottom bit off and it also looks from the top fixing brackets as though it will pull up out of the way for long loads! You will have asked him that already though so maybe not.

Thanks for the PM
You got me wondering about my choice now - I assumed the standard 1/2 guard was fixed at the top as well as to the bulkhead but now I am not so sure *edit* Oh sod it. I've got loads of rivnuts - I'll make it fit Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

It's three inches narrower than the "proper" one at the top, it slopes inwards to the top. I measured the one on my 90 (bolted to the bulkhead version) and thought it might leave enough space for a determined terrier to get through. Although the one you're getting might different to the other bulkhead ones I've seen.
Mine came with a small tab top centre that fitted a slot in a bracket that fitted to the roof, hopefully thats there, but should be easy enough to replicate. If it works it'll be a cheap option for a 1/2 guard. I think you'll find that one is to fit a td5, it'll fit a puma but only if the panel mouldings are left off - that's mentioned in a previous thread somewhere here. Might well fit though if different brackets are fitted. Good luck Dj 1989 200tdi 90 csw 2011 110 usw Orkney grey Buy British 🇬🇧 Defender Clothing Designs available at http://www.rangesports.com/acatalog/Defender-Stuff.html |

Thanks DJ I had the chance to buy the top half of £75 one from the dealership Bob put me onto, but I wasn't sure which gaurd it was, bit of confusion, and didn't fancy bothering with making brackets if they were like yours, will see Bobs pics when he has done his. I don't think it's like yours which is TDCi specific so left it for now.... I haven't got a dog....YET so no rush, happy to let Bob and Matt be the guinea pigs for now
