2nd Service (24K) pricing?
Just been quoted £530 by Stratstone Cheltenham - I'm a bit shocked - should I be?

So far as I can see from the Maintenance Check Sheet, it's only mainly brake fluid, fuel & air filters over the 12K service...

I'm going to ring around a couple of other main dealers for comparison, but wondered what anyone else has paid?

Thanks, Ads.

(I'll go with main dealers for this one as there are a couple of minor warranty things I want looked at).

Less at Guy Salmon Stratford, £449.
Droitwich were quoting £510.

I'll probably use my previous independent once out of warranty, I know they will be cheaper.

I think you can still use your independent without effecting you warranty?

Yeah, I appreciate that you're right guys... but as I'm having warranty issues looked at, at the same time... just saves me from doing two separate trips (20 to 30 miles to nearest dealers & independent for me).

If there were no niggles next service time, I'll happily go independent.

No issue in using independent dealers as long as they use gen parts and are VAT registered. 2.4 90 XS

If you have a Dealer do the servicing LR have no chance not too honour warranty issues and the dealer will be more on yourside when dealing with problems. With an independant doing the work, it may just give LR a get out clause. I know that leagally this is not the case but could end up giving you a headache!.
