Ticking noise from fuse box / dash board
Hello All,

Replaced the battery at the weekend with a dual battery setup. Since then, I have noticed an occassional ticking noise (sounds like the indicators, but it isn't them) coming from fuse box / dash board near instruments.

It does it with the ignition and engine off. I've noticed it when the doors are open.

Any ideas?

All the very best,

I would suggest ....... PANIC Rolling with laughter

If I remember correctly there are relays in that fuse box and it sounds like it could be one of those energizing and discharging.

After my recent experiences with Puma electrics I am very careful about doing any mods.

Maybe pull the box cover and see if you can identify if it is a relay and, if so, which one. Might give you a clue as to what is going on.

I am sure one of are resident sparks will be along to give you a proper explanation Thumbs Up

like Bob says, take the lid off the fuse box and put your finger on each of the relays, you can feel them click

also, disconnect the 2nd battery to see if you have upset the system
