Depends what you read into it though - to me it could be that they are saying the current Defender will continue to be built in small numbers for the utility / farming market (maybe in India as has previously been suggested) and the DC100 will become the new 'base level / utility' Landrover that they need to sell into the USA and in bigger volumes in Europe.
If it is a good vehicle and less than a Freelander than it will replace Defender sales over here. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Anyone else notice in the original article it was referred to as 'Defender Concept' but in the link above 'Discovery Concept?' Suspect it's a 'typo' but a bad one nevertheless...
Still like the look of it! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

That has to be the worst article. If it ain't broke don't fix it??? Continually improving defender because there's so much difference between a 200tdi and a 2.2 puma.
12 bhp Better heater Disk brakes all round An extra gear What's the difference between a disco 200tdi and a disco4, think the list would be rather long. |
