drain bung
Pulling into a carpark the Mrs. suddenly says to me "You need to squeeze my teat".Nearly hit the car in front when I heard this. "I'm leaking" she continued.How I got parked I don't know. Anyway it transpired that there was a drip into the passenger footwell so I guessed she ment the drain bung near the heater. While she shopped I duly "squeezed her teat" and "it did leak".Wonder how the mechanics at a garage would have reacted if she had landed into them and said the same thing.

noticed today that I have had a few drops of rusty coloured water run along the passenger side underneath the window (seems to be from the releaseable flap area near the passenger's legs) - drips either near the door or near the centre console. Nothing much 3 or 4 drops each side.

Is this the same problem? or something else?

Any luck it will be the same. Give both teats a squeeze. If you lie on the ground by the passenger front wheel you can reach up behind the wheel arch and bulk head and reach them from there. I got some water from mine but whether that is the cause of the leak it is hard to know. I like to kid myself that it is. Happy squeezing Mr. Green 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
