Interesting, I would not have thought the roof rack would make that much difference?
I'm averaging just over 27mpg, but have not (as yet) had a tank just used for unladen long runs (i.e. optimal conditions). The last few tanks I have used the trailer, been on short distances, and also sea kayaks on the roof. The MPG has not varied that much (not as much as yours anyway! ![]() |

been doing a lot of A road and motorway use....bong and orange light at 457miles filled up at 480miles - equated to 32mpg.
although I'm sure alot of you will think thats great I'm still convinced there should be more considering my driving style (for the most part). for those interested that was 67.75 ltr (£100.20). what I really can't understand though is.....its a 65 ltr tank isn't it ![]() |

The fuel tank capacity is 75 litres for a 110/130 and 60 litres for a 90. Then you have the filler pipe volume as well on top of that, though most of that will leak out the tank breather if it hasn't been repositioned.
