There is a company in Australia which has come up with a nicely designed wheel carrier. It seems to take the best features from other carriers and looks solid. Only thing I'm not sure about is the bottom bracket seems to use the same mounting point as a Nato hitch, not sure if a hitch could be used as well? Cost would probably be prohibitive for sale in the UK but may be an option for serious expedition use.
http://rijidijoffroad.bounce.com.au/#/defender/4551247239 I also found that they are in the testing phase of a new two wheel carrier or jerry cans + one wheel. http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb102/r...=slideshow I always like to see new designs coming into being for the defender and just thought I'd share. Brian. |
