Fitting Bumperettes with mudflaps
This afternoon I have been busy doing this......

I bought some secondhand bumperettes and in order to preserve more of the integrity of them i decided to modify the mudflap brackets instead, very simple job.

Here goes...

First off I removed the mudflaps and bolted on the bumpers, I made a template of the mudflap bracket and worked out where to make the incision Laughing

Offered up the template to the mudflap and drew on where to make the cut

Got out the disc cutter and cut the slot, which needed a little bit of fettling to get it to fit sweetly

luckily it just cleared to rivet, coz i did envisage having to provide some extra support here

I painted the cut then chucked it all back together - job done Thumbs Up

Think you might find the Extreme 4x4 version comes from a certain West Yorkshire engineering firm which is not a million miles away from where I am sat now Razz Prices are interesting

thanks chiefstocker awesome! exactly the fix I need, had come to the same idea nice to see it works Wink Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...

'Wow...! What a ride!
