I have a 2002 Td5 SW that has all it's service history(ex police motor) and it's never had any replaced, I've just put a mid box replacement on and the box I took off seems quite servicable, it was just the bolts/studs that took some getting undone, hacksaw in the finish

For what it is worth, my 2002 TD5 Disco 2 has done just over 200k miles and is still on the original exhaust with (as far as I am aware) no problems.
My 2007 Puma 110 has done just under 100k miles and is also all original in the exhaust department. |

I had to fit a new rear section to mine about a year back. Bought a cheapo pattern one from all makes and I'll be surprised if I get another six months from it. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
