there is a firm 'Brodit' that do phone holders which clamp to the air vents so no need to ruin ya dash

Shouldn't be but I'd certainly pull the radio out and double check. Personally I'd use some decent high adhesive body tape and save the dash. Steve.

Not on my County - I have mounted my CheckTemp there, and there is good clearance behind.
