Fantastic service from Jeremy, rather than having to write out 'Concept Advance Scheme Hedgefund' on the cheque he said I could just put the initials

Yes and on the back you're name and 'Cash Upfront New Transport' no doubt! It'll be a mobility scooter we'll all be after if there's anything to be learnt here from history! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Makes sense to me.......£500 down on a car which although not yet produced, puts you at the front of the queue when they are.......The only 'cost' is the loss of interest on the money which, at the moment, amounts to not a lot (£62.43 @4% p.a over 3 years.........and where are you getting 4% these days?)

But it happens all the time, more so with prestige cars, there will be a list for the next Ferrari etc and those with there name first in line will be the first to receive a car before joining a long waiting list. Some will even sell their build slot on for a huge premium.
I have seen these sold on for a £20k profit without the car even built and I'm sure there are many examples well above that. For some they do this as a business and I don't think desperation is the word |

^^ probably there are indeed better words for this than desperation... but why pay a deposit on something which will merely be another mass produced new car which you don't even know yet how it will look like or anything else? It is not exactly a new Ferrari of which only a handful will leave the assembly every day.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Neither was the Evoque bit that was still sold on at a profit by those first in the queue either before it came off the line or after having 6 months use and a few k miles
