ARB winch bumper with bullbar
Was thinking of ordering the ARB bumper. Has anyone fitted this? Opinions good or bad, as well can the front standard suspension handle the extra weight?

My best mate has one on his Hi-Lux. He bought it second hand for around the £250 mark and about a month later hit a red deer hind doing 50... no damage to the vehicle at all, just a bit of pressure washing! I think they are fantastic. Good things come to the wild and free

I've got a Douglas Motors one on the front of mine with the Land Rover Warn, and I had to replace the standard yellow duty springs for the HD 110/130 springs. Best factor this into the cost, although they are cheap enough from Land Rover.

Not sure when I'll be getting a winch probably later on. Hopefully the suspension can handle the bumper alone. The ARB is a bit pricey and takes 90 days for delivery so if possible to pay in 2 or 3 payments I'd get it earlier then putting down the full payment 2012 Fuji White 110 Flattened

'kin heavy and make the land rover look like a shogun (IMHO) no offence - each to their own

I think it helps if you have a roll cage etc to balance the look out Very Happy Would look more natural on it's own on the front if you were in Oz, you don't want a roo sitting on your lap Shocked

I have a BRB version on my 110:

As strong as it is, it's 'kin heavy (with a winch fitted).... I have 90 HD rear springs on the front which give enough support that you don't smack the bump stops over every pothole. normal 90 rears/110 HD front still leave you hitting the bumpstops.
Trouble is, with the HD rears on the front, a) you have a little bit of lift (ok if you want that, but if you want standard height then not so good) but b) the steering seems a bit vague; handling isn't too bad, but not as nice as standard.
