2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Montalcino Red

td5 turbo upgrade

hi guys

i know you can get hybrid vnt/vgt turbos for the td5 but am i right in thinking there is a turbo from another vehicle that can be fitted or made to fit
also can anyone remeber back a few years ago about a tomb raider td5 that had been rebuilt into a 2.8 td5 ?

any one have any info on this is the engine still in use or did it die ?

That was Lara on the D4x4 forum who did the 2,8 conversion.

I've heard that Merc sprinter (5 cylinder) turbos will do the job,.,,, you need the early non electronic turbo.
