drips on mrsBPMan's foot ...
MrsBPMan phoned me at work today .. very distressed, the car had wee'd on her wellies Shocked and the symptons are the clutch pedal went to the floor and took a while to pop back up again ...

seems ok now but there's a leak coming down the pedal ... so question, how can I tell if it's the master or slave cylinder ?

Both replaced last May .. so garage will be dealing with it

It's the master cylinder; it's just above the pedal itself. Dave

Can only be clutch master cylinder .. slave cylinder is under the cab mounted on the bell housing Wink Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

both the master and slave cylinders were replaced (with genuine LR new ones) 27th May 2011... so back to the garage it goes .. should have a years guarantee on the parts ?

Rolling with laughter

Some LR parts are not great and I think can be Britpart or made by same firm. I heard that LR were sending many parts back with complaints as the quality was rubbish, certainly with Series 2 bit's it's generally better to refurb your original stuff than buy new. When it comes to cylinders, carbs etc it is better to get your old one refurbed Thumbs Up Trouble is with the Defender we start off with crap Rolling Eyes

Isn't there a quality product made by an independent somewhere Confused
