Due to the redesigned middle row seats in the tdci, the loadspace is shorter than a Td5.Also the foldup seats in the rear of a tdci take up more space than bench seats in a Td5.I noticed this when we got a Puma after driving a tdi.You can pack more into the rear of a tdi/Td5 than in the rear of a tdci but seating comfort and safety have to be taken into account. If you are interested in a Puma 110 a five seat model still gives lots of luggage space in the rear.
Yes the rear wheel boxes in the tdci Puma have been redesigned too. Easier packing on the flat ones in the tdi/Td5 models but I balance all this up. The sheer drivability of the Puma tdci and the more comfortable, much safer middle row and rear seats has to be taken into the equation. Our seven seat Puma still carries a huge amount of gear on holidays for us. Any other car with four or five occupants would need a roofrack to take it all. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

Ahhh right, i guessed it was down to the rear seats. Not having been in one before, I could get used to the layout...Now, all I need is the £28k for one... 1999 Defender TD5 110
